Studio F.B.A., known to many as Studio Flash Back Amsterdam, has played an important role in the development of electronic music and its culture in Croatia since 1994.
Since 2006, Studio F.B.A. has been working together with the Humanitarian Association Perfect Circle (Savršen Krug – HUSK), dedicating its time to developing various educational programs for youth. Among these, we especially highlight the DJ education and music production workshops.
Over the past twenty years, numerous generations of young people have passed through these programs, getting to know different music cultures, modern technologies, and the entire process of music creation.
A New Project After Twenty Years
In 2026, we present a new joint project called SP:KA Music Band.
SP:KA is a music collective that gathers different generations of young people who have been involved in the music education programs from 2006 to the present day.
The project is being developed with the support of experienced and award-winning DJs and producers from Croatia, Slovenia, Austria, and Germany.
Our central studio is located in the heart of nature – in the Bednja Nature Park, in Veliki Gorenec, within the “Bajka” Excursion Site of the Humanitarian Association Perfect Circle.
Music with a Special Story
Every song on this year’s album, as well as on all future releases, is named after an animal that was a part of our lives.
These are the pets we have today, the animals we used to have, those we adopted, and the animals we met while visiting shelters for abandoned animals.
In this way, each song carries its own memory, emotion, and story.
Connected by a shared musical system and way of working, the members of the collective create authentic and original sounds within various genres of electronic music.
The Album „Behind the Shadow”
SP Music Band plans to release at least one album every year, which will contain between eight and twelve songs.
